Newtown Screening at Global Peace Film Festival, Orlando

Please join us for free screenings of Newtown at the Global Peace Film Festival on September 24 and 25, co-presented by ITVS.

Filmed over the course of nearly three years, Newtown uses deeply personal, never-before-heard testimonies to tell the story of the aftermath of the Sandy Hook Elementary mass shooting, the most schoolchildren shot to death together in American history. Through raw and heartbreaking interviews with parents, siblings, teachers, doctors, and first responders, Newtown documents a traumatized community still reeling from the senseless killing, fractured by grief but driven toward a sense of purpose.

Sat. 9/24, Cobb Plaza Cinema Cafe, 155 S. Orange Ave., Orlando
Sun. 9/25, Bush Auditorium, Rollins College, Winter Park

*Both screenings free and open to the public, tickets are required and available at http://peacefilmfest.org/film/newtown/
